This heritage Fair Isle pattern uses the five traditional colours. There are two bands of a small motif, in different colours, followed by a larger motif. The colours are logically organised to follow their own pattern, regardless of the motifs they are knitting. It's a much loved idea and is used frequently in hand-knits today.
The reverse side of the cowl, in predominately white and flax, will brighten up your wardrobe.
