High Contrast - Black and Gold : Our new display balances drama and elegance

The colour combination of black and gold represents a balance of opposing forces, and we have curated our latest window display with just that in mind. Take a look at some of our most high contrast works, their combination of dark surfaces and high-shine golden lustre carefully balancing drama and elegance.

Featuring Jonathan Wade's tactile vases with hand-built porcelain surfaces; Mara Irsara's bold geometric jewellery; Claire Malet's reformed steel cans with glowing gold interiors; Laura Plant's ceramic forms in statement architectural shapes; Tracy Nichols' kiln formed light and dark glass works; Choi Keeryong's 'Dam Daah' series, speckled with inlaid gold leaf; and Marian Ripoll's multi-functional wire sculptures in looping shapes.
