The golden sunlight and coral reefs of the Caribbean shine through Disa Allsopp’s jewellery, in which luminous citrines, peridots and lapis lazuli meet hand-forged precious metals.
Raised in Barbados, Disa’s practice has been influenced by this special island, merging clean, contemporary shapes with an organic finish inspired by the patina of ancient jewellery and talismans. Sustainability sits at the centre of her practice: always interested in the ethical journey of her materials, Disa sources her traceable gemstones on travels to East Africa and uses recycled gold and silver to create pieces with a timeless quality and a story to tell.
