This week, a wide array of wonderful ceramic plates and platters are
taking the spotlight in our window. We have a fantastic collection of large-size serving dishes for the summer table.

This Week in the Gallery...
We've also had some lovely visits from our makers, who have brought in both new and archive works to go on show. It's been great to catch up and hear all about new projects and upcoming shows.
This week we were visited by the wonderful ceramicist, Agalis Manessi, who brought in some of her maolica figures. We have fallen in love with Japonaise, and For Odilon Redon, two charming new hand-painted characters in delicate pastel hues. These poised figures sit wonderfully amongst the ceramicist's collection of animal works and can be arranged as a group in conversation. We especially enjoy spotting different faces and expressions on each side of Manessi's vessels. Also, look out for her Hildegard of Bingen portrait dish, inspired by renaissance platters, featured in our window.
We couldn't not include these new in contemporary vessels from Ane Christensen as part of our window. We have two new steel Shredded Bowls in Yellow Marigold and Cornflower Blue and also a Dented Bowl in patina copper. All of Christensen's work begins as a simple spun form or flat sheet of metal. We particularly enjoy the beautiful shadows these pieces cast in the sunlight.
