This pair of Halo Tables are hand-crafted by Laurent Peacock from a London Plane that was once a historic street tree in London. The Halo tables make the wood's characteristic rays and spalting a focal point of the design. Much of Laurent’s work focuses on the tactile quality of a piece for its potential to invite interaction.
These new hand-woven spun silk scarves by Jennifer Shellard make a striking graphic statement in rich deep browns and energetic aqua blues. Shellard's practice centres on her response to colour, light and tonal gradation.
These new pieces by Louise O’Neill are characterised by simplicity and purity of form, complemented by sensitive implementation of a carefully considered colour palette. With delicate accents through use of utilise precious and semi-precious stones.
These wheel thrown, coiled stoneware works are the latest of Nancy Main's sculptural ceramics, seeking to give physical form and expression to the subtle nuances of human feelings experienced as we journey through life; in our relationships with one another and with the earth.
Peter Black’s salt glazed stoneware and porcelain pieces are thrown, and finished on the wheel, sometimes altered, and assembled, including functional as well as one-off decorative or sculptural pieces. Each piece individual, including when part of a series. These new works feature Black's signature banding rings. The banding profiles are influenced by architectural detail on buildings he has visited over the years.
These charming new creatures by Rie Taniguchi make the perfect decorative touch to wear or to embellish a space. Rie has a particular affinity with animals and tells stories of extinction, survival and endangerment, as well drawing on folklore: her creatures reenact tales from countless cultures.
These new ceramic forms by Lise Herud Braten are wheel thrown and hand carved, using mixed stoneware clay with layered slips & glazes. The highly textured, organic forms reference to details in nature and the urban environment. Memories of growing up in a rugged landscape in Norway inform both shapes and mark-making, imbuing the pieces with a sense of place.
