Born in Alghero, Italy, Delfina Emmanuel graduated from the Harrow School of Ceramics at the University of Westminster in 2007.
The ceramic forms she makes have been influenced by the delicate and fragile nature of living organisms. Her sources of inspiration come from her birth island of Sardinia, rich in marine life, with corals, anemones and rock formations.
Emmanuel hopes that the interpretation she has given to her artwork provokes a glorious escapism and thoughts of the ocean and its fragility.
Delfina will be showcasing her contemporary ceramics at Collect.
Running from 3 - 5 March 2023 (Previews 1-2 March), and marking its 19th edition, COLLECT is an exceptional opportunity to acquire new, museum-quality work from living artists internationally.
